John Bayard Anderson (born February 15, 1922) was a U.S. Representative from Illinois and presidential candidate in the 1980 election.
Anderson was born in Rockford, Illinois, where he grew up.
Anderson remained State's Attorney until 1960, when he ran for the House of Representatives in the 16th District of Illinois.
