A native of Australia who became the wife of Count Henning August von Arnim of Prussia and later married John Francis Stanley Russell, the 2nd earl Russell, she wrote under the pseudonym of Elizabeth, best known for her work, Elizabeth and Her German Garden.
II, 1922-1928, consist of a series of letters and cards from Countess Mary Annette (Beauchamp) Russell, 1866-1941, novelist, to Richard Curle, 1883-1968, author.
The correspondence is conducted from her home at White Hall Court in London and from her summer residence Chalet Soleil, Randogne sur Sierre in Switzerland.
