John Frank Green (born February 11, 1965) is the Detroit Pistons fan responsible for throwing a plastic beer cup at Ron Artest, which led to the infamous Throwdown in the Motown fan/player brawl involving Artest and some of his teammates.
Green has several criminal convictions, including felony assault with intent to do great bodily harm and three drunken driving convictions, and was in fact on court-ordered probation from a DWI conviction in November 2004 at the time of the brawl.
Green was a Piston season ticket holder and has been banned from attending future games at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Most importantly he should be charged to the fullest extent of the law, and John Green should be held responsible for Ron Artests actions, the other players actions, and the unruly fans actions.
