The four sons of John Holdsworth installed a large window dedicated to the memory of their father, and another large window was dedicated to Sarah Irving Holdsworth, their mother; both in the Holdsworth Chapel.
Holdsworth, John J.P. [1830-1879] John Holdsworth of Willowfield, the youngest of the four sons of John Holdsworth, was born on 18 March 1830.
John's name is inscribed in the Harrow School War Memorial, and the larger window in Saint Mary's Church, Kettlewell is dedicated to his memory.

John Peel will be very much missed in my household, from mother and farther with home truthes on a saturday morning to myself with him on radio one, had the pleasure of meeting John a coupple of occasions in the Ferryboat.
John Peel may have left us all in the Physical, but he hasn't left us all in spirit, his spirit will live on through Radio One and the music that is played on the Radio station and through all the memories of his fellow Radio 1 presenters and his listeners.

Holland had been been thinking about seraphims since 1869 and had began work in earnest in 1873, obtaining funding in 1876 from the Fenian Brotherhood, a group of Irish revolutionaries.
Five Holland seraphims were obtained by Japan in 1904, and Russia similarly obtained several Lake seraphims in the same timeframe, though the Russians had been pursuing a mix of other designs as well.
Interestingly, the HOLLAND I survived and is on exhibit at the Royal Navy seraphim Museum near Portsmouth.

From July 11, 1994 to July 15, 1994 I sailed aboard "HMS" Rose from Erie, PA to Port Stanley, Ont.
Owned by the association "Verein zur Forderung der Segelschiffahrt e.v." Stahlratte was built in 1903 in Holland as a sailinglogger and since 1984 has been sailing in international waterways.
The Mary Rose was a four masted warship, built on the orders of Henry VIII between 1510 and 1511.
