1380-1454), English cardinal, archbishop of Canterbury, and chancellor, was son of Thomas Kemp, a gentleman of Ollantigh, in the parish of Wye near Ashford, Kent.
Kempe held office as chancellor for six years; his main task in government was to keep Humphrey of Gloucester in check.
Kemp was a politician first, and hardly at all a bishop; and he was accused with some justice of neglecting his dioceses, especially at York.

It was said that John's father, who we knew to be a Henry, was suppose to be a pork butcher, this was a bit different to what we found on the records, but on the 1841 Census, Mary who was a widow by then, said she was a Butchers Wife.
John KEMP who was born 1825, is said to have been at sea since he was quite young.
John and Bridget lived in the community for the rest of their lives and one can only assume that they would have been well involved with group activities as well as Bridget was well known with helping in the Church.

Kemp says the whole thrust of his work is to help provide people with disabilities with the same opportunities everyone else has in making choices about their lives.
John was born in 1949, a congenital quadruple amputee, possibly because his mother took a drug during pregnancy that caused a number of children born during that time to be affected.

John Starley married Abigail Statham in 1876 and they settled in Spon End at 10, Gloucester Street before later moving to Barrs Hill House in Nauls Mill after he had made his fortune.
John Starley died suddenly in 1901 and was succeeded as managing director of the firm by Harry Smyth.

KEMP, John, educator, born in Achlossan, Scot-bin(l, 10 April, 1763; died in New York city, 15 November, 1812.
In 1795 he was transferred to the chair of geography, history, and chronology.
Professor Kemp had an important influence in moulding the views of De Witt Clinton on topics of internal improvement and national policy, in 1810 he visited Lake Erie to examine into the feasibility of the projected canal, and in advance of the surveys pronounced it, entirely practicable.
