It was almost a done deal at the break as Sars led 2-9 to 1-5 and immediately on the resumption with a procession of scores from Kieran Murphy, John Murphy and Ray Ryan.
Nine points from man-of-the-match Kieran Murphy, plus an opportunist goal from corner-forward John Murphy six minutes into the second half, laid down the foundation for this hard-earned win.
Killeagh pulled back a goal in the 19th minute but Sars responded almost immediately with goals from John Murphy and Kieran Murphy.

Kieran Murphy converted two well taken frees so sars could go into the break just trailing by a point.
And they got right back into the game when Garvan McCarthy was allowed ghost through the Na Phiarsaigh defence and full-forward John O'Connor had the simple task of putting the ball in the net.

My grandfather John Thomas gillen was born 1877, and probably was born there to, but don't know for sure.
The Conry's daughter, Bridget Agnes is my ggrandmother and we believe she was born Feb.1833 who married John Gillen and later married a Patrick Gray.
Thomas Gray was born in NYC and another we don't have a name for.

It was Boorman who got Neil Jordan started on his career with 'Angel'; he has advised on scripts for Jim Sheridan; and with his partner in Merlin Films, Kieran Corrigan, persuaded the government to accept the innovative section 35, a financing provision for film, largely designed by Corrigan, that has jump-started the Irish film industry.
Boorman's film solves the mystery of how the painting came to be, why it depicts this bizarre pose, and even explains the odd background in the painting.
Boorman's new film 'Beyond Rangoon' opens at the Cannes Film Festival on the 19th of May. Much of it was filmed in the Malaysian jungle.

On Friday evening, a large crowd was in attendance when former hunger striker and friend of Kieran Doherty, John Pickering, gave a detailed and heartfelt account of life inside the H-Blocks at the time of the hunger strike and on the events which preceded it.
A magnificent memorial to Kieran Doherty TD was unveiled to mark the 20th anniversary of his death on hunger strike as large crowds gathered in Ballyconnell Co. Cavan for a weekend of events from 3 to 5 August.
Among the congregation were Kieran Doherty's parents, Margaret and Alfie, and members of the extended family.
