John Clayton Mayer (born October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA) is a singer-songwriter who plays pop music.
Mayer listened to pop music, but it was not until the age of thirteen that his inspiration for playing the guitar began.
Although John has maintained a reputation for being a sensitive singer-songwriter, he is also an accomplished guitarist.

The 27-year-old singer and 1995 Fairfield graduate was taken to the headmaster's office where officials stalled him until the ceremony was under way and then walked him to his car, he said.
Mayer said he initially was not able to attend the ceremony, but changed his mind this week.

Since I am not into "pop" music at all, this would not be an album that I would be eager to listen to, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, considering I know that John Mayer is a good musician.
John Mayer has such a great musical ability, and he sounds great when he is using his ablity with his jazz/blues vibe.
John Mayer is an excellent songwriter and the music is very good, but his voice is boring and he needs to mix it up a bit.

John has a short solo in here, and then the chorus comes in, he changes the last lyrics to “Your will is not as strong as it used to be.”, and then the song fades out with another melody.
It proves that John Mayer is really talented, and not a Dave Matthews poser at all (most people seem to think like this, I disagree.).
