In the article, Mica mentioned seventeen researchers by name and implied that their research supports the "arguments" and "science," as he presented them in the article, against the use of whole natural marijuana and it's derivatives as a palliative treatment for a variety of conditions.
Since this one piece by John Mica seems to embody the whole of prohibitionist policy all wrapped up in one article with names attributed to research for once, I have started the Seven Points of Truth Project.
And just for a second teaser, the second scientist that Mica quotes as doing a study that shows marijuana is capable of "destroying key brain functions" said in a fairly recent BBC article, "There is very little evidence that cannabis is harmful in the long term."...
