John Youngs on 25 August 1949 in Old Bethpage, New York) is an American film actor, producer, production manager and composer.
His first major film role was as Steven, one of a group of friends who become prisoners of war in the 1978 film The Deer Hunter directed by Michael Cimino.
John is the older brother of actor Jim Youngs and the father of Jennifer Youngs.

Greg Joelson and his friend, Devon Stephenson, came to the festival from Medford, Ore. Joelson is an actor in “The Drop,” one of the films that played at the festival Saturday.
