Squire's own perception of himself as a guitar hero was in evidence throughout, as he strode about the stage firing off molten lines and coolly turning his back on the audience.
There was only one dark tunnel of self-indulgence to be endured, and this came during an extended voodoo-guitar freak-out, with Squire's band members grooving along unobtrusively while their leader stretched out in the strobe lights.

Squire started out with a fuzz face which was a silver/grey and fl one, and at some point used a red and fl one (as pictured below.) You can tell the difference by the fl and white photo's, as red will show up as a dark colour whilst silver/grey will show up as white.
Squire's command of the subtleties available from this pedal are a brilliant lesson in being as creative as possible with the tools that you've got.
Squire would go from his guitar straight into his pedals, then from his pedals into his tuner, then from the ouput of the tuner into the input of his mesa boogie.

The songs themselves are the kind of rock work-outs you'd expect from Squire, with the single, Room In Brooklyn, typifying the sound: catchy, riff-laden and well produced.
