Sir John Thompson had been Prime Minister of Canada for only two years when he died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 49 on December 12, 1894, at Windsor Castle, where Queen Victoria had just made him a member of her Privy Council.

John Bruce “Jack” Thompson (born July 25, 1951) is an American attorney and activist against obscenity and violence in media and entertainment, based in Coral Gables, Florida.
Thompson further claims that some of these games are based on military training and simulation technologies, such as those being developed at the Institute for Creative Technologies, which, he suggests, were created by the Department of Defense to help overcome soldiers’ inhibition to kill.
Thompson tried to withdraw from the case, but his request was denied by the judge, who went ahead and revoked Thompson’s temporary admission to the state bar.

John Walton was born in Hexham, Northumberland, England, in 1775.  The first son of John Thompson, a butcher, and Esther Walton.   The family were protestant non-conformists, probably congregationalists, as were the Temperleys, his wife's family.
Eliza was the only daughter of John and Ann, and was possibly born in St. Petersberg Russia in 1809 at the British Consulate during the Napoleanic War (Peninsular campaign).  Her birth record is probably the only proof of the presence of the Thompson family near Muscovy proprietorships in St. Petersburg, and is yet undetermined.
