Kern was born in Indianapolis, July 7, 1900, and is a son of John Worth Kern and Araminta (Cooper) Kern, the former of whom was born in Howard County, this state, and the latter at Burlington, Carroll County.
Kern has been a loyal and well fortified advocate of the principles and policies of the Democratic party, by which he was nominated in 1924 for the office of reporter of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Kern to Miss Bernice Winn, daughter of Henry A. and Mabel (Long) Winn, of Indianapolis, and the one child of this union is John Worth Kern III, born May 25, 1928.

The John Muir Trail climbs out of Yosemite Valley northeast over the Cathedral Range to Tuolumne Meadows then descends into Lyell Canyon which it follows south, up Lyell canyon, to Donohue Pass (11,050' high), in the ridge which divides Yosemite National Park from the Ansel Adams Wilderness in the Inyo National Forest.
The John Muir/Sequoia-King's Canyon Wilderness Map comes in too-wide a format, three times the width of a regular map, so I folded them in thirds, each fold individually (not with the whole map folded up as it comes.)
The John Muir Trail has a number of places a day's hike from a trailhead making it easy to quit along the way and accommodating those who want to hike a portion of the trail at a time.

The odd thing is that the two I did for them (1 2) didn't follow the pattern they want, but they were happy with them nonetheless, so I probably could have kept on if I hadn't raised the issue.
This post is a great example of a blog with interplay among participants..So with open contribution of other bloggers individual voices/ideas move forward into action by a group.
When the first editor suggested the spitfest, I wrote back that it seemed to me that "This is so not news." When the second one, in a conf call, independently suggested it, it felt like this wasn't an aberration but the norm.
