Johnny Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) was a vastly influential American country music singer, guitarist, and songwriter.
In 1944, a tragic incident occurred that affected Johnny Cash for the rest of his life; Jack was pulled into a whirring table saw in the mill where he worked, and almost cut in two.
Johnny Cash was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
