John Edwards - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Edwards was one of the major contenders for the Democratic nomination in the 2004 U.S. presidential election, and went on to be the running mate of the unsuccessful 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, Senator John Kerry.
Edwards was born in Seneca, South Carolina to Wallace R. Edwards and Kathryn Juanita Wade.
