		Rod may be gone, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he had touched throughout the years.
		Rod Roddy seems to have suffered, and now his suffering is over, and he is in a much better place, but he will be missed by his many loyal followers of "The Price is Right".

		Johnny Gilbert (who hasn't done it this time, though he was around in the 1980s after Johnny O's death and announced the original Cullen TPiR in the 1960s), also would do a very good job, as would Charlie O'Donnell (who did some 1985-1986 eps.
		Rod's back in the studio now, and he'll be announcing from the start of next season (although he'll be on a bit sporadically for the first two or three weeks).
		Johnny Olsen was admiringly good too, but Rod really was a great announcer for this show and I just find it difficult to see anyone replacing him, unless they tap a stadium or arena announcer, that could work.

		I had a huge problem with the prices of Loomis rods and the fact that they do not list what their blanks are made of or that their components are lesser quality than I would put on a rod costing 1/3rd as much that I built myself.
