Whether it's Tony showing off his scar, Vito hiding his homosexuality, or Johnny Sack dropping almost half a million dollars on his daughter's wedding, this week's episode of The Sopranos was all about outward appearances and, more importantly, the weaknesses they hide.
Almost the entire episode took place at Allegra Marie Sacrimoni's wedding, a lavish affair which Johnny was allowed six hours prison leave to attend and that brought together most of the major Jersey and New York players (except for Uncle Junior, left to waste away in a depressing psychiatric hospital).

While "Johnny Cakes" didn't contribute a lot of plot development to the overall sixth season - no one got whacked, no plays for power - it did add a fascinating amount of character depth to the three characters that seem to be David Chase's primary focus this season.
