In support, Johnson states he was prevented from developing and presenting evidence in support of claims regarding denial of funds for a forensic expert, denial of funds for a psychiatrist, denial of funds to investigate mitigating evidence, ineffective assistance of appellate counsel, and ineffective assistance of trial counsel.
