Elizabeth P. Johnston was the sole beneficiary of a $500,000 life insurance policy on John D. Johnston that was paid up through May 29, 1999.
Johnston's body was found on the morning of May 5, 1999 in a construction site trailer in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
After being notified of this, Elizabeth P. Johnston continued to try to fraudulently receive the proceeds of the life insurance policy by hiring an attorney to represent her children in an attempt to obtain the insurance proceeds for them, since they were listed as contingent beneficiaries on the policy.

Johnston's shares, which have been one of the best performers in the sector this year, outperforming peers by over 20 percent since January, inched up 0.3 percent to 301 pence.
On the circulation front, Johnston said evening titles continued to fall, down 2.3 percent on the same period last year, in part due to more reductions in bulk sales orchestrated by a management who have won analysts' approval for their cost-conscious eye.
