Jon 'Maddog' Hall discusses open source - Sci-Tech
Jon "Maddog" Hall, the executive director of Linux International, spoke at the University April 6 as part of the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Seminar Series.
Hall expressed that everybody should have the "freedom to read the source code, the freedom to make changes to the source code, the freedom to redistribute those changes and the freedom to use the code for any purpose," which open source allows.
At first, Hall believed that the goal of college was to get a good job; however, the real goal, according to Hall, is to create a thinking electorate and thinking workforce.

Jon Hall despite having little character to really work with does a good enough job in displaying his vengeful character bent on revenge against those he believed cheated him.
Star Jon Hall is pretty to look at, and he might even be a good thespian, though the script (and Ford Bebbe's clumsy direction) certainly don't give him any chance to prove it.
Jon Hall isn't much of an actor (not that the role required him to be), so he isn't very compelling.
