Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole (26 March 1871 - 7 January 1922) was a prince of the reigning House of Kalakaua when the Kingdom of Hawaii was overthrown by its American residents in 1893.
Jonah was sentenced to a year in prison while others were executed for treason against the republic.
In a campaign to secure home rule for his former subjects, Jonah was elected to the U.S. Congress as a delegate.

(Try saying that three times fast.) Prince Kuhio (1871 - 1922) served as the Territory of Hawaii's delegate to the U.S. Congress from 1903 to 1922 and was a big proponent of land rights for native Hawaiians.
I don't think people really wish each other a happy Prince Kuhio day, but I really enjoy saying, Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole.
