  Kashmir History and Politics
Starting with Jonaraja (15th century CE), the author of the second Rajatarangni, and coming down to Jawahar Lal Nehru (20th century CE) it is an endless saga of sycophancy and kowtowing on the part of Kashmiri Hindus before the aggressors.
One has to read the songs which Jonaraja composed in praise of Zain-ul- Abedin and the panegyrics which Jawahar Lal Nehru has heaped on Mohammed Ghaznavi, Babar, Akbar and Sheikh Abdullah, his Sher-i-Kashmir.
Jonaraja had the decency at least to detail the brutalities committed by the Islamic sultans.

Baharistan-i-Shahi translated by Kashi Nath Pandita
Its author is unknown and the work covers 131 years of history given by Jonaraja.

Commencing with traditional history of very early times, it comes down to the reign of Sangrama Deva, 1006; the second work, by Jonaraja, takes up the history in continuation of Kalhanas, and, entering the Mahommedan period, gives an account of the reigns down to that of Zain-ul-ab-ad-din, 1412.
Srivara carried on the record to the accession of Fah Shah, 1486.
