MSJ-Jonas Reingold of The Flower Kings
Yeah, I think of course you will hear the typical Jonas Reingold Karmakanic stuff, because I'm using the same guys again: Goran on vocals, Krister on guitar, Zoltan on drums, and Lale Larsonm, marvelous keyboard player.
So, the guy starts, "Oh man Reingold, come on, hurry the f**k up, we have to be on stage, come on, come on." I rushed and one of the tiny little smelly things got stuck on my shirt.
To be able to do this in the future, we really have to have the audience support as well.

I can't give Jonas Reingold, Zoltan Czorsz, and the others enough praise on their well-tempered musicianship and their dedication to creating pristine-sounding records, but I sometimes wish that they would throw the prog-meets-flowerpower idealist conceptualizations by the wayside.
I understand fully that English is likely Reingold's second language and that he's catering to prog's predominantly English market, but there is still way too much emphasis on the vocals for a musician of this caliber.
The recording is pristine and bears a mark of pride that Reingold and Co. have in all of their studio work.

In addition, it's hard to think of a better modern rhythm section than Jonas Reingold and Zoltan Csorsz (also from the Flower Kings alumni).
The reason I consider this progressive instead of neo-prog is due to the tight arrangements where even Jonas and Zoltan stay in the picture by playing complex, yet perfectly placed fills that punctuate the solos and add meaningful moments within the songs.

These cds, along with Tomas Bodins' newest Pin up Guru, which also features new FK drummer Zoltan Csorcz, and bassist Reingold, prove that the depth of imagination that is the sum parts of The Flower Kings, seems to have boundless musical invention, and uncannily, creative energy for creating the highest quality of progressive rock.
I have been wanting to get this cd reviewed as early as possible, yet the fact that it is a 2 cd set, and the deluge of other music has kept me from fully ingesting the music fairly.
