Jonathan Haraden was born in Gouchester, Mass., 11 November 1744, and joined the Massachusetts State Navy in July 1776 as First Lieutenant of the sloop Tyrannicide.
Escorting the main attack group of transports, Haraden arrived in the Marshalls 30 January, and was detached to form a screen for the battleships and cruisers during the heavy bombardments of 31 January.
Haraden and the escort carriers entered the Sulu Sea 13 December, and were attacked that day by four Japanese aircraft.

Haraden returned to Pearl Harbor, arriving 8 July, until 15 September participated in training exercises and maneuvers in Hawaiian waters in preparation for the invasion of the Philippines.
The carrier force, with Haraden in the screen, departed 10 December for the Sulu Sea, en route to the invasion of Mindoro.

Jonathan Haraden (11 November 1744 23 November 1803) was a privateer during the American Revolution.
Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Haraden joined the Massachusetts State Navy in July 1776 as First Lieutenant of the sloop-of-war Tyrannicide.
In 1778, Haraden left the state navy for a career as a privateersman, commanding General Pickering.

Captain Jonathan Haraden took command of the Salem MA letter-of-marque General Pickering in 1780; a letter-of-marque is a ship used primarily as a merchant ship, but with permission to behave as a privateer when occasion offers.
One of the latter, Achilles, was a former East Indiaman of 40 guns.
The ship’s owners gratefully presented Haraden with a silver tankard and two silver canns, each engraved with a portrait of the brave little ship.

The only thing I'll say about Haraden is that I'm glad the re-roll ability has been included in different ways for the different races.
This will be popular in Rum/Buried Treasure fleets as well, since your opponent will smell blood in the water when you hit that Rum and you can use the Foul Wind to buy time to shake off its effects.
You could do worse than a 30-point Bonhomme Richard with Jones, Haraden, and a Helmsman, but given the modern emphasis on treasure hauling I wouldn't expect such a build to rule the day.

Jonathan FARREN was born circa 1797, location & parents unknown, and died 5 May 1770 in Newton, NH, where he is buried in the Old Town Cemetery.
The earliest known record of him is dated 30 March 1719 when Jonathan's house was referenced in a description of a lot of land granted to a WEED in the Children's Land Division.
Haraden and his companions are said to have comandeered the vessel, beheaded the captain, and sailed the pirate vessel safely into Gloucester.
