Volume 13 of Pennsylvania Archives, page 262 relates that Ludwic Zearing (brother of Grandfather Henry Zearing) was a delegate of the Second Battalion of the Associated Battalions (53 Battalions in number) to choose two Brigadier Generals to command the Battalions and forces in the Colony of Pennsylvania, held July 4th 1776 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Corbett identified the defendant as John Light, 47, 301 Pine Meadow Rd., Lebanon.  Light is the owner of 77 acres of land at that address, known as the Light Farm, and is also the owner of a warehouse property located at 118-130 N. 8th St., Lebanon.
Light is charged four counts of unlawful management of hazardous waste, a second degree felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $2,500 to $100,000 for each count.
Additionally, Light is charged with seven counts of unlawful conduct under Pennsylvania's Solid Waste Management Act along with one count of generation, transportation, storage, treatment and disposal of hazardous waste.  Each of those counts is a third degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $25,000.

He married Lucy A. Ney on 8/17/1848 in Lebanon County, PA, She was born 4/15/1833 in Dauphin County, PA. They had a son, John Baer born 8/29/1854 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA. He died 9/4/1944 in Marceline, Linn County, Missouri.

 Lebanon County Historical Society: Post Card History
Most of the Kleinfeltersville subjects and many of the Schaefferstown and Heidelberg Township shown in Lebanon County: A Post Card History, were produced by Eden Noll.
Painted between 1820 and 1825 by Maentel, who frequently traveled around the south central Pennsylvania countryside painting affluent farmers and small town citizens from his home base in Schaefferstown, he and his family departed for New Harmony, Indiana, about 1837.
Maentel died in 1863 and is buried in Indiana near his friend Jacob Schnee, Lutheran pastor and publisher of the first newspaper (1807) in Lebanon.
