		Later, Jadzia Dax experienced hidden memories of Joran, which were so traumatic that they threatened to kill her, requiring Trill doctors to uncover the memories of Dax's joining with Joran (and, consequently, to unseal the government's records of the joining) to save Jadzia's life.

		Dax has it's own personality, and Jadzia had her own personality, and the two meshed in a certain way.
		It was established fairly early on and repeated throughout the series that Curzon Dax had a different personality from Jadzia Dax.
		But the personalities have all been different (in one case murderous) and Ezri Dax's was probably more different than the others because of Ezri's lack of training.
