Joseph Breen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Joseph Breen (born July 5, 1958) is an American soap opera actor.
The setside rumors were that PandG wanted Breen to voluntarily leave the show, and when he wouldn’t, he was forced to tape many scenes in which he was scantily clad.
Reportedly, taping the scenes made him uncomfortable as both his muscle and body fat had already begun the process of atrophy, and it was at this time that he left.

Reason: Hollywood’s Second Sex: Women and the movies
Breen was not interested in protecting the studios and had little love for the art form -- he was there to protect America from purveyors of filth.
Breen called Hollywood Jews "a vile bunch of people" and "the scum of the earth" and referred to Jewish moguls as "lice" and "crazed with sex.") Once Breen took over, not a single film would be released until it passed the harsh strictures of the Production Code.
Breen saw immorality hiding behind the most innocent tales; some ideas, he felt, simply couldn’t be expressed in any form.

Patrick Breen is famous for the diary he kept from November 20, 1846, to March 1, 1847, the only record we have of daily events at the mountain camps.
Patrick and Margaret Breen, their five children, and members of the Graves and Jacob Donner families were left behind at what came to be called Starved Camp.
Margaret Breen died in 1874, five years before C. McGlashan began collecting material for his History of the Donner Party, but her sons vigorously defended her memory and ensured that she was fittingly portrayed in his book.

Joseph P. Kennedy is described by biographers Collier and Horowitz as "Cheerfully anti- Semitic".
It would appear that under such circumstances, people like Joseph P. Kennedy, Howard Hughes, George Schaefer, Dennis Stanfill and Joseph Breen, may have all been wrongfully labeled anti- Semitic (or in the alternative, none of the authors who reported the allegations, made an adequate case to support and accompany their allegations).
It would seem that if a person is going to make an accusation that someone is anti-Semitic, or as an author, pass along such allegations, the very least that society should require of the accusing party, is that he or she provide some credible evidence that supports such allegations.

Breen served notice on the Hollywood establishment, and summoned the biggest names in the industry for a dressing down.
Even with this, the princes of the Church, energized by Cantwell, Breen and Mundelein, were dubious that either federal action or censorship by a Hollywood office would be sufficient to their cause -- and they pressed ahead with plans for the Legion.
