  SANE Serbian-American Alliance of New England
This most distinguished Serbian analyst is best known for his theory of regularly varying sequences and theorems of Tauberian type (often called "Karamata’s tauberian theorems").
Karamata served as a professor at the University of Belgrade, but moved following WWII due to communist persecution, continuing his work in Switzerland.

House is composed of three parts,ground-floor,one-storeyed with simple roof and one-storeyed with cellar and roof.All three parts are linked with unique bordered facade and they have one main entrance.The highest part of house was built in 1763 by rich Zemun’s merchant Kuzman Jovanovic.
From that time is unique facade and gate with year 1827 above.Earlier baroc gate was on eastern part of building.House of Karamata family was linked with historical persons.
During Austria-Turkish war in 1788 emperor Josif II with his headquarters stayed in it.
