		Re shoogling: What I was trying to say was that when people play videogames, they tend not to hold the joypad on a constant horizontal plane; there's usually a fair amount of leaning and waving brought about by the subconcious brain trying to control the game character as if the scenario was real.
		In conjuction with the fundamentals of Joypad Loader it would be good to include, but 'tis an idealogical thought at present.

		This is basically the same as a SNES joypad adapter, with the limitation that only buttons A, B, Start, and Select will be available to you, because that is all a NES joypad supports.
		Parts for this adapter are virtually non-existent, (extension cables,) so you will probably have to cut the connectors off the NES joypads, and connect the NES joypads directly to the DB25 connector, so use joypads you no longer need, because they will not be able to function with your NES console after this alteration.
		The wire from pin 7, from the cable selected as joypad 1, has to be soldered to pin 10 on the DB25 connector.

		The reason I discarded the joypad is that for certain games (Star Wars etc) MAME decides that you have an analog joystick.

		I was looking at some classic game console joypads the other day, and I began wondering how their features developed over the years, So, here's a first draft of a history of the joypad, in roughly chronological order.
		Each joypad has an 8-bit CMOS shift register chip in it (the 4021) and the console contains hardware to communicate with it.
		The SNES joypad extends the 8-bit shift register of the NES to 16 bits, although only 12 bits were actually used.

		I opened it up and stripped off all of the components, rewired it to mimic a Jaguar joypad, and added a 25-pin plug to the end of the cable so I could attach it to the joypad interface.
		The first picture is the joypad itself with the new 25-pin plug to the right.
		So the top buttons on the joypad will not work to operate the flippers because if this was done I believe it would help the game out tremendously.

		At first I thought it was just a possible issue in my joypad configuration, or a problem with the Control Pad settings in the Control Panel.
		So I tried resetting the buttons in Joypad Config to no avail, then trying to uninstall and reinstall my controller (an old MS Sidewinder Control Pad by the way) in Control Panel, also to no avail.
		I found that unchecking the "disabled" in joypad config stops the characters from moving, but that seems redundant anyways, but does lead me to believe, aside from other reasons, that this has nothing to do with my controller to begin with.

		If by joypad you mean something like a Playstation controller, then it is not very difficult.
		I would be using the external reference connected to 5V as the joystick is most likely ratiometric - this means that for example, the centre point is not 2.5V but actually half the supply voltage and full scale is the supply voltage.

		Mit dem "Hori - Digital Joypad" hat man allerdings einen eher exotischen Controller auf den Markt gebracht, der vom Design und technischen Layout sehr an das gute alte SNES Joypad erinnert.
		Das Joypad entbehrt nämlich jeglicher analoger Steuerung und eignet sich somit nur für den Einsatz bei Spielen, die primär das digitale Steuerkreuz nutzen.
		Das Joypad liegt sehr gut in der Hand und das Handling des digitalen Steuerkreuzes fällt viel leichter, als mit dem originalen GameCube Controller von Nintendo.
