Talk:List of demons - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Seems to be "all of them": I've seen demons from ebraic culture (such as Lilith, if I recall correctly), greek (kerberus), european (succubi and incubi), mesopothamic (Pazuzu) as well as fiction (jubilex, from chtulu mythos); and this is just a first glance.
Also I'm not so sure if they're all demons, or some of them could be considered a god or something like that by some.
I removed Jubilex because it was the only fictional demon listed; if someone wants to create a list of fictional demons - that is, demons that have not been historically believed to be real - they can include him there instead of here.

Wizards Community - Jubilex/Ghaunadaur: Seperated At Birth?   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
Jubilex is a major demon, lord of slimes, oozes, jellies, etc. Ghaunadaur is a member of the Drow pantheon from the Forgotten Realms, but is not a Drow deity, and is in fact the deity of slimes, oozes, jellies, etc.
Jubilex has been around since before the mention of Ghaunadaur, and FR has always been, well...
I think the info on Ghaunadaur is simply using some of the same concepts surrounding Jubilex and making them more FR lore specific without using Jubilex itself.

Wizards Community - thrall of jubilex polymorph questions   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
08-17-04, 01:16 AM Hello all, I was thinking about making a thrall of jubilex today and basically it would involve going 1ranger/1barbarian/1fighter/then jubilex correct because the only major requirement is the +6 fort save.
Furthermore can someone explain the jubilex's polymorph ability to me. The creature you change into must be 8 HD or less, and you take their str, dex, and con but keep your int, wis, and cha.
This means the thrall can stay in his polymorph form indefinitely so long he uses 1 standard action every 8 minutes to "renew" the polymorph (which lasts for 8 min.
