  Catherine Tizard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, ONZ, GCMG, GCVO, DBE, QSO (née MacLean) (born April 4, 1931) was a Governor-General of New Zealand, and the first woman to be appointed to the office.
She was elected to the Auckland City Council in 1971, the Auckland Regional Authority in 1980, became Mayor of Auckland in 1983 before being appointed Governor-General in 1990.
She was previously married to former Deputy Prime Minister Bob Tizard and is the mother of current Minister of the Crown Judith Tizard.

here is a report of judith tizard sticking her nose in the air and huffing out of a scheduled candidates meeting..because the media weren’t there….
tizard is perhaps our best example of arrogance on the hoof..and a telling example of there not being that much there to back up that attitude/persona..

The release of a new booklet on School Travel Plans and their potential to reduce traffic congestion in Auckland was welcomed today by Auckland Issues Minister Judith Tizard and Mayoral Forum Chair, John Law.
