Rock Follies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The second series, Rock Follies of '77, was a continuation of the first, but industrial action during May of that year at ITV, the commercial channel that aired the show, caused the last few episodes to be postponed until November.
The series starred Rula Lenska, Charlotte Cornwell and Julie Covington as the Little Ladies, with support from Emlyn Price, Beth Porter, Sue Jones-Davies, Stephen Moore and Little Nell among others.
However the second series was felt to be too "raunchy" for the sensibilities of a public television audience, especially as the first had received a lot of complaints from the public in areas outside the larger cities for its frank portrayal of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.

`Mod Squad' Stays True to the Original / Story of undercover cops plays like TV series
The original show about undercover ``hippie cops'' starred a long- haired Michael Cole as Pete, Clarence Williams III, with an Afro, as Linc (short for Lincoln, who freed the slaves) and Peggy Lipton as the runaway Julie, daughter of a San Francisco prostitute.
Both baby-faced and hollow-eyed, Ribisi capitalizes on his stuffed-up delivery, a charming tendency to weep and his comic nervous energy, although at one point the film is almost derailed by his car-wash sequence, which is a washout.
These Mod Squaders, of course, are resented by the ``real'' cops, and Ribisi sometimes seems to be playing a parody of one (``We're undercover!'' he blurts out at one point).
