On November 2, 2004, Newmar was sued by nextdoor neighbor and TV comedian, James Belushi, for the sum of $4,000,000.
Newmar countered that she was the victim of the boorish and arrogant Belushi.

The film's title refers to a totemic autographed photo of Julie Newmar that the trio carries with them on their journey.
