U.S. AMES, IOWA - A traffic survey of motorists using the Julien Dubuque Bridge will be conducted as part of the evaluation of alternatives to improve the traffic flow of U.S. 20 over the Mississippi River.
The Iowa Department of Transportation and its consultant, Hanson Engineers Inc. of Springfield, Ill., will be conducting the traffic survey in conjunction with the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (DMATS) and the Illinois Department of Transportation.
