From the plant, the tornado continued east, just south of Routes 116/117, affecting 4 farmsteads approximately 1/2 to 1 mile east of the plant.
Two of the farmsteads closest to the plant (about 1/2 to 3/4 mile east) had the 2-story houses completely blown away, with only debris remaining in the basements and nearby property.

A 2004 update to the National Cholesterol Education Program's (NCEP) clinical practice guidelines on cholesterol management advises physicians to consider new, more intensive treatment options for people at high and moderately high risk for a heart attack.
The update,* published in the July 13 issue of Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association, is endorsed by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.
The document is based on a review of 5 major clinical trials of statin therapy** conducted since the 2001 release of the NCEP's cholesterol guidelines known as the Adult Treatment Panel (ATP) III Report.

The R/V Lake Guardian was on Lake Superior from July 5th through 10th and on Lake Michigan from July 19th to 23rd for weeklong teacher institutes.
During the week of July 12th to 17th, Dr. Matt Simcik of the University of Minnesota took samples for trace (ultra-low levels) organic contaminants in Lake Michigan.
On July 21st, GLNPO staff presented “Restoration Planning for Fish and Wildlife in Michigan's Areas of Concern: A Preliminary Assessment and Guidance for Action,” to about 130 Michigan Public Advisory Council members and state and federal agency staff in Monroe, Michigan.

Sadly there is no airport right near the town of Tadoussac (Charlevoix is closest) but it is only about a 2.5-hour drive from Quebec City, right along the lake shore with a beautiful cathedral and then a big casino on the way.]
I infer from this experience that tech companies are in for another few very bad years in which customers won’t want to pay attention to or invest in improved computer hardware and software.
