July in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent to January in the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa.

I have to specify 2000 because in 1999 it began at sundown on April 16, and in 2001 it began at sundown on March 25.
They wanted to start a new calendar to mark the beginning of their new religion, and they wanted to make it purely and continuously lunar to differentiate it from the solar and lunisolar calendars that already existed.
They chose to start their new calendar on July 16, 622 A.D. — or, technically, since Islamic days begin at sunset, at sunset on the date the Gregorian calendar calls July 15 — because that was the first day of the lunar year in which the key Islamic event called the Hegira took place.

As EPA reported on June 19, 2001, in a Notification of Attainment of Milestone, the Agency held an option selection meeting with the Acting Assistant Administrator for Water to discuss the range of regulatory options for final action on the proposed Phase I regulations.
Agency staff and senior managers are scheduled to brief the Deputy Administrator on the Phase I regulations on July 20, 2001.
Project staff are now beginning to draft portions of the final Phase I regulations and an accompanying preamble, which they intend to submit for broader review within the Agency in August.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal, state and local agencies have collected extensive environmental monitoring data from the World Trade Center site and nearby areas in Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey.
All samples showed results less than 70 structures per square millimeter, which is the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) standard for allowing children to re-enter school buildings after asbestos removal activities.
Air Sampling for Asbestos - A total of 47 samples were collected on June 17, July 9 and July 10.
