Due to the conflict with the Jungars, the Kazakh hordes often allied with the Qing and Russia, the latter of which, would exploit the ongoing conflict and eventually absorb all 3 Kazakh hordes and Jungars of the Caspian (aka the Kalmyks).
The reasons why the Qing invited the Kazakhs was due to the distrust of the Uighur and Hui, and the land being considered a region forbidden to the Hans.
