The Jura folds are located north of the main Alpine orogenic front and are being continually deformed, accommodating the northwards compression due to Alpine folding.

Le Doubs, massif du Jura, VTT and footpath Map, are excellent maps if cycling or walking, but do not try road navigation on them, the cycle/footpaths taking preference, the roads blending into the back ground.
They are available from Stanfords over here but expensive at £8.95 each, and you need all three as Nans sous St Anne sits in the middle of the lot.
Vosges To Jura is a guide to the Grande Randonnee 5, and is no use at all unless walking the thing, have not got a clue why I brought it.
