Jurassic Park (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jurassic Park released for the NES and Game Boy were isometric action adventure titles, with various goals that loosely follow the plot of the film.
This game came with a barcode scanner accessory which was used to scan barcodes which were then converted to DNA pieces in the game.
Jurassic Park III: The DNA Factor was released on the 30 July to coincide with the release of Jurassic Park III.

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis looked promising to me when I got a chance to check it out late last year; I didn't actually get any hands-on time with it, though.
Games like this have been few-and-far between outside of the realm of the PC, where they're exceptionally abundant (so much so that there's even a Trailer Park Tycoon.) With that in mind, I jumped into the tutorials immediately so I could learn the ropes before trying to start my own park from scratch.
Within an hour, I'd learned all the basics of how to get my own Jurassic Park off the ground, from researching dinosaur DNA and hatching new breeds, to building restrooms so my park patrons wouldn't have do the pee-pee dance for their entire vacation.

Designing a park that pleases all four types of visitors is possible, but the perfect park does require tweaking.

Billed as a 3-D action sim, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis seemed to be the diamond in the rough for Jurassic Park video game ventures.
This game is the redeemer, the one game that makes up for all the years of really awful Jurassic Park titles.

UGO.com Games - Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis review of the PC/Xbox/PS2 strategy dinosaur game from Vivendi Universal
Jurassic Park is one of the biggest and highest grossing blockbuster movies ever released, and it was quickly followed up with two more action oriented sequels.
Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (buy now) takes the theme park genre and injects it with a little dino-fever, and while that may seem like a publisher trying to pump out a crapware title to milk the last few drops from this cash cow, the end result is surprisingly entertaining.
The next game mode is called missions, and it actually eliminates all park building aspects, and has you accomplishing tasks such as putting down rampaging dinos and snapping photos of dinosaur behavior for research purposes.

 Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is a novel written by Michael Crichton and published in 1991, which was later adapted as a movie directed by Steven Spielberg.
The video games, specifically the computer game Trespasser, would not be considered movie canon or novel canon due to the fact that there are multiple contradictions in the game between the movies and the novels.
The theme park rides themselves are stand alone in the aspect of the rider experience as they ignore previous cautionary tales in an effort to reconstruct John Hammond's park and send visitors on a thrilling journey that includes dangerously escaping menacing raptors and the T.Rex herself.

To prevent another debacle, the scientists decide to sabotage the big game hunters, but soon they are all threatened by the dinosaurs and try to cling to their very lives.
Universal Home Video has prepared a similar package for "The Lost World" as we have seen for "Jurassic Park." The film itself is presented in a beautiful 16x9 enhanced widescreen version that nicely reproduces the movie’s images.
In technical terms once again, we have identical video transfers in which every pixel is identical, just as we have seen in "Jurassic Park." Once again, Universal has used the exact same compressed video stream for both versions and simply replaced the audio tracks underlying the video.

This is probably the most difficult aspect of the game, as the number of available options increases as you complete research, and as more visitors come to your park, you are required to produce attractions and exhibits to suit them.
Since the game takes place in real-time, handling research, overseeing digs, creating and maintaining exhibits, as well as viewing numerous e-mail messages and reports is quite a challenge.
The game offers an enormous amount of variety, not only in the number of dinosaurs and attractions, but also in the large number of tasks the game includes.

The game's code seems finicky enough not to recognize a hit even though it just worked a second before.
The play variety is nice, and there's a chance if Jurassic Park stuck with only a single style, it may have become something worth playing enough to see the end.

Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operatos might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up.
Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
