		The Karnataka High Court today ordered issuance of show-cause notices to three Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) officers on a contempt of court complaint for allegedly not implementing a High Court order to shift slaughter houses and abattoirs outside city limits.
		Mr Justice S R Nayak and Mr Justice Ajit J Gunjal ordered notices to Urban Development Department head Ravi Kumar, Commissioner K Jyothirlingam and Health Officer Dr Narayana Bhat on a complaint from one B Krishna Bhat that the BMP had not implemented the order.
		Mr Bhat submitted that a High Court bench had allowed his writ petition on August 13, 2002, and issued the said order.
