  Corporate Punishment Records - Reviews
What one will immediately hear about Kcuf is that the band is tremendously influenced by acts that range the gamut of styles from DRI to Slayer and Venom.
The style in which Kcuf creates the music on “Modern Primative Punk” is in no way related to the bands in which constituent members came from (Dope, Korn).
Kcuf comes forth with a panoply of styles; the one constant is that individuals will be rocked throughout.

Well, if that’s the case, KCUF prove their punk-ness with their sound, which is murky, amateurishly mixed, unpleasantly raw, and vocally and lyrically unintelligible except for the numerous swear words.
Elsewhere, KCUF try to sound profound on the song “Cockstar.” (Note the creativity involved in the song-naming process.) The singer introduces the song by saying, “As a singer, I feel that singing is overrated, so there are no words on this song.
Almost amazingly, KCUF closes the album by making burping and farting noises, but by the time you get to the end, it’s hard to be surprised by anything immature.

Very little information is out there on the internet (and that's considering that I work closely with their label), so most of the genesis of the band is a bit of a mystery as of yet.
From the twisted version of the famous chicken joint logo to the take no prisoners but leave no one behind approach, KCUF is a project that clearly defies classification or a real genre.
Back and forth the band goes over the twenty-two tracks on their debut, with some parts being death metal, and some parts being punk, but never will you find them being serious about what they are doing.

KCUF - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
KCUF is the call sign of a fictional radio station (located in the equally fictional Kinneret, California) in Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49.
The call letters are often simply used in place of the exclamation that they spell in reverse.
Trilogy, the acronym KCUF stands for the "Knights of Christianity United in Faith", likely as an homage to Pynchon's usage.

When you think of bands like Snot, System of a Down, Korn, and Slipknot, the last thing you think of is probably old-school thrash-punk.
Well that is exactly where KCUF will throw you for a loop.
Sean says "KCUF was just a project I had in my head for a long time, and I hooked up with Tumor and T-Shirt (AKA Jeff Myers, also one a significant musical contributor to the record), and they helped bring it to life,he says remembering how the project came together.

When the band hits its stride, as it does on “Bloodbath” or “More Blood,” the results can be a lot of fun, but the signal-to-noise ratio is quite disappointing.

Audio Abrasion Review of KCUF 'Modern Primitive Punk'
'Modern Primitive Punk' is the debut album from KCUF.
The music is tight, and well executed punk metal, that reminds one of early Rollins Band, KCUF bassist John “Tumor” Fahnestock’s former band Snot, with a hint of Tool.
It has all the ingredients: heavy vocals, thrashy guitar playing, thumping bass, and in-yer-face drumming.
