Since the PLL operates with a 10 Khz reference, this should allow allow a 10 Khz channel spacing.
A 20 Khz channel spacing may be obtained by simply cutting a single diode.
This seems to work OK but you may get some strange frequencies unless you remember to actuate the switch only when you are on an even 100 Khz channel.

A signal that was originally sampled at 192 kHz should be faithful to the original up to 96 kHz.
The only signals that are 96 kHz or greater are the hi-res tracks from dvd-a or sacd and dts 96/24.
If you play a cd (44.1 kHz) or dvd-v (48 kHz) it won't matter if the dac is 96 kHz or 192 kHz UNLESS the receiver upsamples to that rate before the digital to analog conversion.

ll Omni VI versions have a 15 KHz bandwidth, two-pole crystal filter as the 1st filter in the 9 MHz I.F. This filter is in the receive signal path at all times for all modes.
The next filter in the Omni VI is a 2.4 KHz bandwidth 8 pole crystal filter, also in the 9 MHz I.F. It is always in both the TX and RX signal path for all modes except FM.
When you select one of these filters it is cascaded with the 2.4 KHz, 8 pole filter and the 15 KHz, 2 pole filter mentioned above.

You need to first capture your audio at 48.0 kHz via the SPDIF interface, then resample the captured audio using a sound editing program such as Sound Forge or Cool Edit Pro.
It is incorrect to assume that if I send the 44.1 kHz wave to the SPDIF out, it will be output in 44.1 sample rate.
So yes, when you take 44.1 kHz audio ripped from CD and 'play' it to your minidisc recorder through the SPDIF interface, the audio is resampled into 48.0 kHz - and there might not be anything you can do about that (again - check your manual and I'll do the same later on).
