| | KNBC to Launch Post-NFL Game Show |
 | | In a local TV first, KNBC, NBC Universal’s owned-and-operated station in Los Angeles, will launch Sept. 10 a live, interactive game show following Sunday Night Football that uses three media platforms: the Internet, cell phone and TV, the station announced Wednesday. |
 | | Called The Challenge, the half-hour show, executive produced and hosted by KNBC sportscaster Fred Roggins, gives viewers the chance to compete in a real-time, TiVo-proof format for prizes, including a new car, flat screen TV, or trip to an NFL Sunday Night game, among others. |
 | | Airing over 15 weeks, The Challenge will replace the usual 15, 20 or 40-minute “filler programming” that usually follows football. |
