KOffice has some limitations regarding font kerning, which is a Qt 3 related issue (so I am told) and will be fully solved when moving to Qt 4 and KDE 4 in 2006.
I have also set up KOffice in one of the companies I work for, they have 3 PCs there, two of them running KDE and KOffice.
KOffice is currently seeing a lot of developer activity and now has never been a better time to take a look at KDE's contender in the office suite war.
