		KPMG's Global MandA Predictor, launched today, says that a window of opportunity exists in the next year for some of the world's leading companies to execute strategic deals and push global merger and acquisition (MandA) value levels well beyond the record set in 2000.
		KPMG is to work with Geneva and Lausanne universities on their Accounting, Control and Finance Master's Degree course.

		Given that Ernst and Young have been the external auditors of Unaxis Holding Inc. (formerly Oerlikon-Bührle Holding Ltd.) since the founding of the enterprise in 1973, corporate governance considerations resulted in the decision to issue simultaneously invitations to tender for the internal and external auditing mandates.
		Following comprehensive evaluations, it was decided to grant the mandate for internal auditing to Ernst and Young AG and for external auditing to KPMG Fides Peat.
		With the 2003 annual financial statements, the lead auditor of KPMG has commenced his auditing activities on behalf of Unaxis for the first time.

		Initial audits carried out by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on behalf of FIFA have revealed that, the use of FIFA's funds have either been insufficiently documented in the bookkeeping records, or the funds have been misapplied.
		These inevitably caused delays in the release of the auditing of FIFA accounts in the last quarter of 2000 by KPMG Fides Peat.
		FIFA has therefore warned the GFA and the other associations involved, to comply with the new administrative directives regarding bookkeeping procedures from FIFA.

		Manfred Flemming, who had served as a director since 1989, retired from the Board on the date of the general meeting because he had reached the age limit.
		KPMG Fides Peat, Zurich, was reappointed as company and group auditor for fiscal 2000.
		The general meeting adopted a resolution proposed by the Board of Directors to reduce capital stock by canceling 36,906 bearer shares with a par value of CHF 100 each and to offset the amount of the reduction against treasury shares disclosed as marketable securities, transferring the excess reserve for treasury shares to the paid-in surplus.

	Barry Callebaut - External auditors
		The statutory auditors and the group auditors are appointed by the General Meeting for a one-year term of office.
		At the last Annual General Meeting of December 8, 2005, KPMG Fides Peat, Zurich, were elected as new auditors and Group auditors of the company for fiscal year 2005/06.
		For the fiscal years 2002/03 through 2004/05, Ernst & Young AG, Zurich, acted as the statutory auditors of Barry Callebaut AG, Zurich, and as the group auditors of the consolidated financial statements.
