Kabballah was a tradition for those unsatisfied with the normal forms and explanations of Jewish life.
Kabballah is the repository of the erotic in Judaism.
Kabballah is about longing, about loving, about passion, about the pain of separation, the bitterness of exile, and the joyful realization that light and the life and compassion lies concealed in the world.

Kabballah is a form of magick which gets its origins from mystical interpretations of holy semetic scripture, for the most part that which is written in the sacred hebrew aleph-bet (alphabet).
The kabballah is also considered an occult practice as well as Enochian magick which involves the use of the Enochian or angelic alphabet, the language of angels as well as being the original language of Eden.
I urge anyone reading this to not "dabble" with kabbalah, and especially enochian magick, as it could become dangerous if one does know what he/she is doing or is not dedicated to the magickal path of enlightenment as it takes alot of meditational skills, focus, and concentration without one giving up on the path.

But the Kabballah says that in order to accomplish that, you must generate an incredible amount of energy in order to do that.
And the Kabballah says not only is it necessary for you to generate an incredible amount of energy to move from one level to the next, but in order to be able to generate that energy, you must first experience a fall.

This was for those who use things that Jesus said in the NT to show that Jesus was a Kabballah student rather than a Messiah, so I thought that I would include other verses from the same source.
What about the simple possibility that Kabballah has some good and wise things to say, and that a wise Messiah would naturally concur with or validate some of these concepts.
Posted - 04 Feb 2005 : 09:05:52 AM It is my understanding that Kabballah teaches a balance between the spiritual and the material and that through spiritual knowledge, one will be more likely to gain some of the material things that they desire as well.

Since I see Rabbinical Kabballah the victor in a highly secretive war between Initiated Orders around the world who essentially shared common knowledge sets, then what interests me as a student of the Occult is not the purported genious of the Rabbinical Kabballah.
Rabbinical Kabballah is, after all, not really a very Occultic Study in that the knowledge is "out there" in public view for anyone who wishes to study to seek after.
I feel it is a process of 'revealing the truth', and I simply do not feel that Rabbinical Kabballah comes nearly close enough to achieving, for the Rabbinical Kabballah does not recognise the "sovereign number", but instead has blasphemied against it by removing it wherever possible.

Much of Tzefat's present character, however, came about relatively recently - in the sixteenth century - when Jewish mystics and other religious scholars moved to Tzefat, in order to escape the Spanish Inquisition in Europe.
Indeed, Tzefat today is an artists' colony and Kabballah center, and one can see and feel signs of intense spirituality throughout the city.
Tzefat is also historically significant for another reason: Asia's very first printing press was installed in Tzefat, and, in 1578, the first Hebrew book printed in Israel came out of Tzefat.

People also found a basis for hope in Luria's view of the future, when the effects of the fall were to be reversed by the restoration of the world through the spiritual labors of the Hebrew nation.
To make what Rabbi Luria taught tangible, we have to look at the Kabballah Tree in the ancient Gra form, and then we have to contrast that to the Tree as given in the Ari form from the 1500s.
Much of the earliest strata of the Hebrew Kabballah mysticism was tied up in chanting and meditating to activate consciousness along those internal pathways.

As well, Kabballistic teachings in the Rambam's day usually flowed only from the mouth of the few existing masters, to even fewer worthy students; writings were not nearly as widespread in the Rambam's time as they are in our day.
