Kaga (Japanese: 加賀, the ancient Kaga Province, in present-day Ishikawa Prefecture) was an aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
Kaga was unable to participate in the Indian Ocean raid in April because of the damage she had received in February.
Kaga's crew were taken off by the destroyers Hagikaze and Maikaze and at 19:25 she exploded and sank.

Takeshi Kaga (鹿賀 丈史 Kaga Takeshi) is a well known stage and movie actor in Japan, and is probably best known internationally for his portrayal of Chairman Kaga in the Japanese television show Iron Chef produced by Fuji TV.
Kaga was born on October 12, 1950 in the city of Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
He starred in several movies throughout the 1980s, but his most famous role would be that of "Chairman Kaga", the eccentric and flamboyant host of Ryoori no Tetsujin, a cooking competition show (1993–1999).

The Tokyo-based company is the first one to decide on delisting since the OSE announced on Aug. 16 the termination of its business cooperation agreement with Nasdaq Japan Inc. as of Oct. 15.
