 | | While thinking about students, the political process, and our role as educators, I recently heard a word on National Public Radio (NPR): kakistocracy, government by the least qualified or most unprincipled citizens. |
 | | It immediately struck me that this describes what could happen if college and university students do not become active participants in the political process by exercising their right to vote. |
