Bukidnon is a landlocked province of the Philippines located in the Northern Mindanao region.
According to oral history of the indigenous people of Bukidnon, there were four main tribes in Central Mindanao: the Maranao who dwell in Lanao del Sur, and the Maguindanao, Manobo and Talaandig who respectively inhabit the eastern, southern, and north-central portions of the original province of Cotabato.
Bukidnon became a regular province on March 10, 1917 by virtue of the creation of the Department of Mindanao and Sulu under Act 2711.

Police in Pangantukan town, Bukidnon province were also put on high alert as they launched an investigation into the Catholic God's Spirit cult, whose leaders had reportedly been recruiting local youths prior to the clash.

For example, some LGUs, such as Iligan City in Lanao Norte and Malaybalay City in Bukidnon withdrew from the project and decided to "go-it-alone" on the mistaken assumption that the feasibility study by itself was adequate to attract private sector financing.
The only private company that stayed with the project (in the Bukidnon cluster) was carefully checking all aspects of the system to ensure that the project breaks even throughout the concession period.

No, I did not mean the blog “Disastrous” I posted yesterday (which I thought I could update but I havent.) I actually meant the bomb that reportedly exploded in Valencia City on Friday.
It was alarming because, Bukidnon, being a big WWII battlefield or at least hideout, could have more of those vintage bombs.
I wish the police and local governments could be more proactive on this matter, esp. that two people died and six others were injured.
