Kalimdor is a large landmass in the world of Azeroth, in the fictional Warcraft Universe that is the setting of the Warcraft franchise of computer games by Blizzard Entertainment, and spinoffs of it in form of a board game, action figures, and several pocket books.
Kalimdor's geography is incredibly diverse, ranging from the temperate forests of Ashenvale, through the arid savanna of the Barrens, all the way to the lush tropical rainforest of the Un'Goro crater.
A circular zone in southern Kalimdor with a volcano in its center, Un'Goro is the home of a massive meteor impact, and the center of the crater is still prone to ash and fire.

sadly most of the kalimdor dungeons are some sort of cave.
In fact, this seems to hold for most of kalimdor which is basically one giant wasteland aside for the extremities, while there's much more variety in EK.
Dire Maul is in Kalimdor, and is not a cave.

I have reason to believe that the treachorous seas were around Kalimdor, BUT they WOULD have had to have passed through the Maelstrom, since Medivh said "You must lead your people West across the sea, to the distant land of Kalimdor".

Except the Forsaken are all the way in Lordaeron, and Sylvanas would have no reason nor idea that Kalimdor even exists, while the Horde is struggling to build Durotar and would also have no reason to go back to the Human/Undead controlled Azeroth/Lordaeron.
Humans, these must be the arrogant SOB's, not the Kalimdor ones, so I can easily see them against the Orcs and everyone else.
Then, we have Trolls (probably Stranglethorn), Tauren (Kalimdor Barrens at a place called Thunder Ridge), and Orcs (Durotar, was it?).

Hyjal was a big place, comprising the entire northern cul-de-sac of mountains of Kalimdor, and as I understand it, it's the place where Warcraft III ends (pre-expansion).
I was in a plain of nothingness, one of those untextured areas where you're not supposed to be able to get to.
I headed north, climbing a ridge and looking back down at the area I was just in.

If they mixed in some towers abuse, some fast tech abuse, orb abuse and other things they'd be much higher up the ladder....They got problems but come on, those ladder positions just reflect not many people on the Kalimdor Ladder know shit about playing orc.......

While troll species have been encountered along the length and breadth of Stormwind, Khas Modan and Lordaeron, little evidence of their civilization has been found in the newly discovered Kalimdor or upon the islands in the South Seas.
Whether this demonstrates an unwillingness of the trolls to venture away from their terrestrial holdings or a failure on their part to develop the technologies needed to make such a journey will take further research and analysis that is out of the scope of my writings here.
