The Kampfbund was a league of "patriotic" fighting societies and the German National Socialist party in Bavaria, Germany in the 1920s.
The Kampfbund conducted the Beer Hall Putsch of 1923 in Munich, Germany.
Adolf Hitler was very secretive about many things and would tell one part to one member and later would tell a second part to another member, or he wouldn't say anything to another, thus leading to much confusion and lack of coordination on the day of the putsch.

His primary concern was the independence of the Reichswehr, the regular army, and he feared that a rightist putsch could create a civil war that would ultimately harm the army.
By the end of October the idea of a march on Berlin was beginning to appear less feasible, and on November 6 Kahr cautioned Hitler and the Kampfbund against any hasty military action.
On November 8 a rally was to be held in one of Munich's large beer cellars, the Buergerbraeukeller, to honor Kahr.

I'm personally very cautious of any of the "early" design pins which are RZM marked, they may have continued in production once the mark came in but I'm not overly convinced IMHO.
I like the KfdK (Kampfbund füf deutsche Kultur) pin, I can't see anything wrong with it myself.
I think the above comments are right - the RZM'ed badges are fakes (M1/129 is almost always fake, and these early badges were before the RZM came in).
